Which paint is best for a home?
The best paint is the product suited to the specific surface, room, expected wear, desired finish and budget. Bedrooms, kitchens, high-traffic areas and exterior walls do not always need the same performance. Compare the exact product range and specification rather than selecting by brand name alone.
Start with the surface
Identify whether the work covers interior walls, ceilings, exterior masonry, wood or metal. Each requires a compatible preparation and coating system.
Choose by room and use
Living rooms and bedrooms
Consider colour, finish, maintenance and the visual effect of natural and artificial light.
Children's rooms and passages
Washability and resistance to regular marks may be a higher priority in high-use areas.
Kitchens
